check your drivers in device management. If there is a conflict, reinstall the driver. Choose manual selection from the path “c:\Program Files\VVDI2\VVDI2\USB Driver\..” or run DPInstxXX.exe.
You need to choose under PORTS.
The big problem with all tools not just VVDI interface is any windows after XP.
The problem is that Win 7, 8, 10 can not separate drivrs if you using 2 devices with Genetic FTDI drives.
Either you have to delete all drivers that was install before or use other PC /Laptop.
Let say you want to have Galletto , AVDI ,X-Dash SMOK and VVDI on same PC with win 7. Forget about that. Never going to happen.
Simple solution for all Tool companies is to make own driver, But that of course cost money and no one wants to do this EXCEPT a little part company.
