Licensing
When purchasing the device, at least one software protocol is required. The basic version cannot function without licenses and is not sold separately! Upon purchasing a protocol you will recieve software updates and free technical support and for a year. In the future, the subscription is renewed for an annual fee.

KESS3 Master vs Slave Version
As a Master user, you can read the files clearly. This allows you to operate independently in order to remap and reprogram the ECU with modified files.
As a Slave user, only your master will be able to decrypt your files. (Recommended choice for taking the first steps in chiptuning, supported by your Master)
Master or Slave? Buy what you need
The Master version can manage the SLAVE version.
The Slave version cannot modify files, it can only read and write files. Only the Master version can modify files.
A single flexible device that can be configured as required, when the tool is initialized, you can choose the mode of operation.
Master - The configuration that allows you to edit software calibrations in a completely autonomous way. The read files can be interpreted by your choice of remapping software.
Slave: If you are not confident yet or sufficiently autonomous in editing software calibrations, thanks to this mode, you can work with a network of trainers who will support you file requirements.
Dealer-Network: If you intend to create your own slave network of tuners, you will have a reliable and easy-to-use tool
